More little bowls

Some of the first little bowls that "survived".

It was hard to discipline myself to not over-glaze. The first few stuck to the kiln...live and learn.

Coil AND Pinch Pot

Every so often I try my hand at a coil pot and decided to pinch the inside. I like the Waxy White glaze I used but not the blues. Always an experiment.

The inside is my favorite

NEW STUFF ROCKS!!

Always fun to get new stuff out of the kiln. Finally got some fiddlefig leaves to fire. Three different glazes. Texture Kiwi, Texture Jungle and Sea Mist. A friend trimmed her fiddlefig tree and I got some leaves to use on my clay.
I love to use nature in my work when I can. Leaves are particularly beautiful and I am always stopping to check out leaves on plants and trees on my walks.

Many hours of tedious glazing. Worth the effort. Started with Texture Autumn, covered it with a thin line of Desert Yellow and outlined with Pewter. The stamp was from the art studio.

What I sold

Posted by Picasa

Made a sale

Today I made my first sale, I sold 2 bowls to a friend of mine. She asked if she could buy one and I hesitated, because I am never sure if I can really let go of my work. Then I pulled a few out for her to choose from and she bought two. Thank you Denise..
