Sycamore leaves

These are a few of my pieces for the kitchen. This is made
by pressing one sycamore leaf 3 times, letting is get almost
leather hard and sticking together with slip and scoring.
Then holding them in place for a bit and finding a bowl to
put it in. I was sure it would fall apart or blow in the kiln.
Miraculously it made it. I just glazed it with texture kiwi
and fired at cone 10. Very pleased.I may try to do it again
one day.
